Big Brother Fans Outraged as Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best Drop ‘Cruel’ Twist Bombshell! trucc
Minutes into the launch show, the hosts delivered the 'terrible' news
Big Brother delivered a shocking twist during the live launch show on Sunday night.
The show, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, returned to introduce viewers to the new housemates, including Emily from Northampton who works for a political events company in Westminster and revealed she had had drinks at Boris Johnson's house.
But minutes into the live broadcast, fans were left shaken when hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best revealed a savage change.
They confirmed that this series would see one housemate evicted straight away that night.
Fans were baffled by the twist, with viewers declaring it 'terrible' and cruel'.
One fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "#BigBrother first night eviction is always cruel."
"EVICTION ON THE FIRST NIGHT???? #BigBrother," another viewer questioned.
A third expressed their shock, stating: "I just switched into ITV2 and the first thing I hear is an eviction tonight...wtf x #bbuk."
A fourth said: "An eviction on night 1 is just cruel #BBUK."
And a fifth added: "Eviction on night 1! What a terrible twist! ITV have lost the plot big time! #BBUK."
Each of the housemates was handed a large eye ball when they made their entrance to the house, with Will telling them to keep hold of it.
Viewers speculated it would have an important part to play in the upcoming eviction.
One wrote: "I guess that “How long did they hold on to the eye without putting it down?” will determine who is nominated for the first eviction tonight. #BBUK #BigBrother #BigBrotherUK."
This series will see the ITV show run for an extra week, with the series airing over seven weeks instead of six.
Last year, it was Ali Bromley who rose to victory.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, she revealed she had returned to her day job despite winning the £90k prize.
Talking about what she had been up to since winning the show, she said: "I have done some charity work, but yeah, I have gone back to work."
Speaking previously about her profession, she told ITV: "It's not your everyday, typical 9-5 office job. It's quite difficult, it's quite demanding and I work in highly stressful situations.
"But I'm quite chilled and probably don't look like the sort of person who can hold my own – in a prison for example."
Ali also offered her advice to the new contestants, saying: "My advice to housemates going in is be yourself. You only take yourself in with you so may as well be true to it."
Boxing champion Terence Crawford ordered out of car at gunpoint during police stop trucc

Crawford became the unified super middleweight champion with his victory over Alvarez in Las Vegas
Omaha police ordered champion boxer Terence "Bud" Crawford out of his vehicle at gunpoint during a traffic stop for reckless driving early on Sunday, hours after his hometown celebrated his victory over Canelo Alvarez.
A video of the incident has since circulated online, prompting Police Chief Todd Schmaderer to launch an internal affairs investigation, a move supported by Mayor John Ewing.
A police news release stated officers observed a vehicle driving recklessly shortly before 1::green-background[30] a.m. During the stop, an officer spotted a gun on the driver’s side floorboard, resulting in all four occupants being ordered out at gunpoint.
The driver was later identified as Crawford upon verification of his driver’s license. Crawford was ticketed for reckless driving. One passenger, a member of Crawford’s security team, was also found to be carrying a legal firearm. Police confirmed all occupants of the vehicle are legally permitted to carry firearms. A police supervisor and lieutenant responded to the scene at Crawford’s request.
Crawford's spokeswoman said Sunday night that he had no comment.
Ewing said in a Facebook post that he spoke to Crawford after he learned of the traffic stop.
“I acknowledge the seriousness of what occurred and how trust between law enforcement and our community is important and shows the need to be continuously vigilant about building relationships,” Ewing said. “Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer has pledged an internal investigation, which I support and want to be full and thorough. We will gather all the facts and be transparent with the public about our findings.”
Crawford became the unified super middleweight champion with his unanimous decision victory over Alvarez in Las Vegas. He became the first male boxer to capture three unified division titles. Crawford is 42-0 with 31 knockouts.
The city held a parade through downtown in Crawford's honor during the day, and a party to celebrate his 38th birthday was held at a live music venue near where the traffic stop occurred.
“Understand that my heart dropped in learning of this end to an otherwise wonderful day and evening celebrating our city’s world boxing champion,” Ewing said. “Omaha needs to remember this important day as a good one while we seek answers to how it ended. Meanwhile, we must ensure that every resident, no matter who they are, feels safe and respected in Omaha.”
