Boxing champion Terence Crawford ordered out of car at gunpoint during police stop trucc
Crawford became the unified super middleweight champion with his victory over Alvarez in Las Vegas
Omaha police ordered champion boxer Terence "Bud" Crawford out of his vehicle at gunpoint during a traffic stop for reckless driving early on Sunday, hours after his hometown celebrated his victory over Canelo Alvarez.
A video of the incident has since circulated online, prompting Police Chief Todd Schmaderer to launch an internal affairs investigation, a move supported by Mayor John Ewing.
A police news release stated officers observed a vehicle driving recklessly shortly before 1::green-background[30] a.m. During the stop, an officer spotted a gun on the driver’s side floorboard, resulting in all four occupants being ordered out at gunpoint.
The driver was later identified as Crawford upon verification of his driver’s license. Crawford was ticketed for reckless driving. One passenger, a member of Crawford’s security team, was also found to be carrying a legal firearm. Police confirmed all occupants of the vehicle are legally permitted to carry firearms. A police supervisor and lieutenant responded to the scene at Crawford’s request.
Crawford's spokeswoman said Sunday night that he had no comment.
Ewing said in a Facebook post that he spoke to Crawford after he learned of the traffic stop.
“I acknowledge the seriousness of what occurred and how trust between law enforcement and our community is important and shows the need to be continuously vigilant about building relationships,” Ewing said. “Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer has pledged an internal investigation, which I support and want to be full and thorough. We will gather all the facts and be transparent with the public about our findings.”
Crawford became the unified super middleweight champion with his unanimous decision victory over Alvarez in Las Vegas. He became the first male boxer to capture three unified division titles. Crawford is 42-0 with 31 knockouts.
The city held a parade through downtown in Crawford's honor during the day, and a party to celebrate his 38th birthday was held at a live music venue near where the traffic stop occurred.
“Understand that my heart dropped in learning of this end to an otherwise wonderful day and evening celebrating our city’s world boxing champion,” Ewing said. “Omaha needs to remember this important day as a good one while we seek answers to how it ended. Meanwhile, we must ensure that every resident, no matter who they are, feels safe and respected in Omaha.”
‘She’s the kindest woman I’ve ever met…’ Big Brother’s Rylie shocks fans as he confirms romance with Katherine on live finale… gushing about their bond despite fierce backlash online – and hinting their story is only just beginning… - suong

RYLIE has confirmed her relationship with Katherine on the live finale, gushing that she’s the “kindest woman” - despite some fans voicing backlash online.
On the Big Brother live finale, Rylie didn’t hold back, sharing his feelings for Katherine in front of millions of viewers.

He insisted their bond has grown stronger since leaving the house.
Despite a handful of critics, Rylie remained unapologetic, praising Katherine as the “kindest woman” and making it clear she’s proud of their relationship.
When asked about their relationship status, Katherine beamed a huge smile from ear to ear and confirmed: "Well, it stands at a really good place, we are together and having fun, just hanging out visiting him, and it was great."
Rylie added: "Yeah, I mean, we've been kicking it. She's literally the most beautiful, kind-hearted, sweetest-hearted woman I've ever met in my life.
"It's been nothing but a blessing and an honour to just be able to experience it and inside the house as well, you know and have all of that, so yeah, it's been really great."
Fans were quick to react on social media, with some expressing surprise at the revelation.
Taking to X, one fan wrote: "WHAT DO YOU MEAN KATHERINE AND RYLIE ARE TOGETHER???? I CANNOT DEAL WITH THIS RIGHT NOW."
Another added: "Wow. Rylie and Katherine. You got me. You made me scared for your relationship. You are together and wow. I'm just mad you played everyone #BB27."
A third penned: "i still can’t believe katherine and rylie are together like huh?"
CONFIRMING THEIR RELATIONSHIP
The U.S. Sun revealed Rylie has reunited with Katherine at his Oklahoma ranch and the two are ‘very much together’ following their controversial season.
The reality stars were at the center of drama during season 27 when many viewers perceived the bull rider’s behavior as “creepy” and insisted it “crossed the line.”
Since both of the lovebirds were evicted from the game in the middle of the season, they had been taking time apart to process the aftermath and backlash from their time on Big Brother.
However, a source close to the pair has told The U.S. Sun that Katherine, 23, has been “in Oklahoma with Rylie all week.”
“They finally reunited after weeks of processing emotions. Katherine has been really eager to see him and wanting to make things work but Rylie needed time.
"He's doing a lot better now and was so excited to see Katherine. I know he appreciated how she had his back in the house after he got evicted and how she had his back with the public too.
“After a bumpy few weeks, it's safe to say they have found their stride outside of the show. I wouldn't say they're boyfriend/girlfriend yet but it's heading in that direction.
“But they are very much together,” the insider spilled.
THEIR TIME ON THE SHOW
Rylie and Katherine became the most buzzed-about contestants of the season when they got into a hot and heavy showmance just days after moving into the house.
While their in-house relationship was celebrated by their fellow contestants, the reaction from the general public was much more negative.
The Oklahoma native was accused of being “creepy,” “aggressive,” and even “crossing the line” with his behavior toward Katherine.
At one point in the season, Rylie vowed he and Katherine would be married outside of the Big Brother house, whether she “liked it or not.”
Fan outrage got so intense that at one point, viewers begged production to “step in” to “protect” Katherine from the professional bull rider.
WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THEY WERE EVICTED?
Following their eviction from Big Brother, it appeared the romance between Rylie and Katherine was done as he "needed space" from her to process the tumultuous response from viewers.
All of the outside noise apparently became “overwhelming” for both Rylie and Katherine following their reentry into the outside world.
So much so, it had negatively impacted their relationship.
According to an insider, they were “barely speaking at all” in the weeks after their eviction.
At the time in early September, “They still haven’t seen each other [in person].
"They talked here and there after the show, but it was very weird, very awkward."
They continued: “The response to everything was overwhelming for both of them, and they didn’t know how to handle it.
“It drew a wedge between them. Rylie pulled away. Katherine didn’t want to push him. And now it’s basically done.
“They’ll see each other are the finale, which they’re both extremely nervous about.
“Both for how the audience and fans will be, and seeing each other.
“Rylie is trying to get back to his normal life by bull riding and going to local rodeos and forgetting all of this Hollywood drama."
