Woman who ditched heavy makeup, dyed black hair & lost almost 3st on Mounjaro reveals her ‘jaw dropping’ ngocc
Lydia Ritchie took to social media to show off the very impressive before and after photos and many were left stunned, with one person even saying how she looks like a "different person!!"
In the clip posted to TikTok (@lydiaritchie_), the beauty fan can be seen before the transformation with jet black hair, glam makeup and fuller lashes.
"I think it's time to ditch the heavy makeup, black hair and loose weight," she wrote.
Moments later, she reveals her new look - and it's fair to say it's worlds away from her previous photo.
Instead, Lydia had toned down her once harsh black hair colour in favour of a much more subtle brunette shade which is much more complementary.
She also embraces her natural lashes and can be seen showing off her svelte new figure and toned abs in a white crop top - thanks to dropping nearly 3st on the weight loss jab.
Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, Lydia explains: "I lost 2st 10lb on Mounjaro.
"I did it for 3 months last year in November, December and January but it made me change my lifestyle for the better and made me get into the gym, boxing, spin classes and pilates.
"Some people I haven’t seen in a long time say I look like a different person."
Lydia, who started out at nearly 13st before the weight loss jabs, now weighs around 8st 9lbs after shedding further pounds thanks to her new healthier lifestyle.
It wasn't long before the post went viral, racking up a whopping 467k views and hundreds of comments from very impressed social media users, who were all full of praise for Lydia's "jaw dropping" glow up.
Four ways to give yourself a glowdown
Thick fluffly lashes are out, so is the fake tan and long nails...here's how to have the ultimate glow-down in four steps...
The term "glow-down" refers to a woman removing what once was the most popular beauty choices, for a more natural look.
Eyelash extensions - Thick, bold "Russian lashes" used to be all the rage, but nowadays, girls are opt for subtle, individual eyelash extensions to lengthen what they already have.
Nails - Gone are the long, plastic talons, more women are favouring BIAB or gel manis.
Hair colour - Remember when everyone wanted icy white hair? Not anymore! Millions of women are trying to go back to their roots (literally), and have soft blondes, and warm gold tones added to their hair, in a bid to achieve the "old money blonde" look.
Makeup - Sculpting your face shape through the art of contouring is no more. Ladies are adding freckles and sweeping blush across cheekbones instead.
"You look incredible girl!!!" praised one, while a second enthused: "Okay SLAY!"
A third commented: "Wow go you...you look beautiful."
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "What a transformation."
A further added: "Wow natural beauty!"
Speaking of the overwhelmingly positive comments she's received, Lydia says: "They are so lovely and kind very thoughtful as social media can be horrible at times but everyone was so nice."
