‘I bawled my eyes out…’: Strictly star reveals their tearful backstage meltdown after being forced to quit with a fractured foot — as they take a swipe at Shirley Ballas over that ‘flat-footed’ comment… - suong
A STRICTLY Come Dancing star who was forced to quit the show due to injury has revealed their tearful backstage meltdown.
The BBC reality TV personality, who was the third star of the series left crocked and unable to continue, then told of the swipe she’d dealt to head judge Shirley Ballas, 65.
RuPaul Drag Race favourite La Voix, 45, appeared on Wednesday’s episode of ITV daytime series Loose Women to open up on her emotional Strictly journey.
We previously reported how La Voix would be quitting the series for good after suffering a painful incident in rehearsals – prompting a huge change in the show format.
Originally, the fan-favourite drag queen was given a bye for Saturday November 22’s live show at the iconic Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.
Yet she then told how her issue was too serious to continue, before breaking her silence and admitting she was “absolutely devastated.”
Wearing a green holly-themed dress with her red hair styled perfectly, she told the Loose Women panel of her breakdown and said she “bawled my eyes out in the rehearsal room” when she “realised I was not going to be able to carry on.”
She then confirmed the exact injury she had suffered was a fractured metatarsal, which had left her using a moon boot.
She confessed she did “two weeks on the show without knowing I’d broken my foot.”
La Voix admitted she wore flat shoes for her Couple’s Choice with Alijaz Skorjanec as a result and said: “We had the comment before from Shirley saying ‘you’re flat footed’.
“I thought ‘well yes you do it with a broken foot Shirley!'”
She added: “I couldn’t say anything, do you know what I mean?”
La Voix then told how she thought it was the “repetitive” motion of the Foxtrot routine that had sparked her niggle.
Talking of her expectations of the show she added: “It was so much harder [than she expected].
“It was the most terrifying thing I have done in my life. But also really enjoyable.
“So some weeks, you’re flying high, and some weeks if the dance is really hard, when I got the Cha Cha and I got a two, that stays with you all week.
“You think ‘oh God I’ve got to prove myself.”
La Voix then confirmed she would be heading on the Strictly tour next year.
LA VOIX STATEMENT
At the beginning of Strictly’s special Blackpool episode, show host Tess Daly announced that Ru Paul Drag Race UK star La Voix been forced to exit the competition.
La Voix then issued a statement which read: “I’m absolutely devastated to be withdrawing from Strictly Come Dancing.
“This isn’t the glittering exit I ever imagined, and it breaks my heart to feel like I’m letting people down.
“My spirit wanted to keep dancing but my foot had other ideas! Thank you for every cheer, every vote and every sparkle of support – it’s meant the world to me.
“This isn’t the ending I imagined but I’ll cherish this forever.”
RULE CHANGE
La Voix’s premature exit prompted a huge change on the series, with the celebs learning there will be no dance off during that particular week.
Tess broke the news live on-air during last month’s episode and said: “This year Blackpool is going to be even more special.”
She turned to the contestants and said: “Listen up everyone, because we have an announcement.
“We can reveal no-one will be leaving Strictly this weekend.”
The announcement prompted a huge response from the celebrities and pro dancers as they jumped in the air with excitement and hugged one another.
Since then, Alex Kingston and Johannes Radebe have been eliminated from the series.
‘I’ve never lived through anything like this…’: Furious MAFS star hits out at ex, claiming he was cheating with TWO other women behind her back before their split… as she reveals the shocking web of lies uncovered in a jaw-dropping TikTok exposé… - suong

A MAFS UK star has hit out at her ex-boyfriend in a furious rant, claiming he cheated on her with multiple other women during their relationship.
Adrienne Naylor, who was on the show in 2023, says she has even met up with his other partners to compare stories.
During her stint on MAFS UK, Adrienne was married to Matt Pilmoor, with the pair parting ways before her new relationship drama.
Matt went on to have a romance with co-star Shona Manderson, while Adrienne returned to dating in the real world.
But things went from bad to worse for the reality star when she met a man on dating app Hinge, who she now dubs the “Hinge Heckler”.
In a series of TikTok videos, where the man remains unnamed, Adrienne claims that he was unfaithful towards her and began relationships with multiple other women during their time together.
“Strap in because I have never had a dating story like this, it’s wild,” began Adrienne as she kicked off the ten-part story on the video streaming app.
The star detailed how she matched with the man and spoke via text before beginning a relationship with him, admitting things moved fast between the pair.
While things appeared to be going well to begin with, Adrienne claims her suspicions were raised when the man told her she could not post pictures of him to her social media.
“He was like, ‘No. You just can’t post me anywhere.’ So the tension was really high, I shed a little tear because I was like, ‘What’s going on?'”
The pair moved past the disagreement and headed on a trip to Italy together, where Adrienne says she noticed his phone text messages had a lock on them.
At the time, she says she didn’t think anything of it, but Adrienne claims she later found out the reason for the lock.
“While we were in Italy, he was texting two other women. He was telling them how much he can’t wait to get home to them, how much he loves them,” said Adrienne in one video.
She continued: “Now, looking back, I’m never dating a man again who has a double-locked WhatsApp.”
Revealing how she uncovered the “other women”, Adrienne explained that she found an false eyelash in his home, before doing some digging on social media.
“So, how I found out about the other women was through this group on Facebook called Are We Dating The Same Guy.”
“There was a lot of stories on there, there were quite a lot of casual ones about people who have dated him. There was literally loads. And there was one crossover, in particular.
“I had nothing to hide, so I told her my name and she gave me a call. We exchanged stories and were on the phone for over an hour,” said Adrienne.
She then claimed that the man – a divorced dad of two – had told “all of the same lies” to both women.
“She told me that she had met his daughters, even though he swore blind to me that nobody else had ever met his kids.”
Adrienne then met up with the woman to compare stories, and says that on the same day of their meeting, she received a message from a second woman who claimed to be in a 2-and-a-half year relationship with the man.
She claims that the woman is now pregnant with his child, something which happened while Adrienne was also dating him.
As well as the two women she spoke to, Adrienne added that she has been contacted by “six others” who had been chatting to him.
While a TikTok user commented on one video to say that she may also be dating him.
They wrote: “Are his initials **? I feel like I could be another another another woman,” to which Adrienne replied, “YESSSS”.
Now, Adrienne is in contact with the user and has told fans that another update is on the way following their conversation.
