Stars battled fiercely for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy during week 8 of Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday.

The 34th season continued with a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night, with couples dancing to classic rock hits in honor of the upcoming 2025 Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel, 44, broke down in tears while speaking about her breast cancer diagnosis during rehearsals, before she was eliminated. 

Fishel was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) — a noninvasive, stage-zero cancer that is trapped inside the milk ducts — in 2024. She underwent two surgeries and 20 rounds of radiation before finally receiving a clear mammogram confirming the cancer was gone.

Danielle and partner Pasha Pashkov performed a Contemporary routine to 'Dream On' by Aerosmith.

'This song really inspires me to live out my dreams, because as my cancer diagnosis showed me last year, you never know when your time could be up,' she told Pasha.

'That's the outlook I have in life, anyway,' she said, wiping tears from her eyes.

'I have remained incredibly positive since my diagnosis. I'm feeling really proud, and I don't often feel that way,' the emotional star said.

'I want to show the benefit of being able to take hardship and being able to rise above.'

During rehearsal, Danielle recalled last week's comments by judge Carrie Ann Inaba calling her a 'tiny little woman' and the need for her to 'use the space' more.

After her performance, Carrie Ann apologized to Danielle for her words last week and said, 'You may be small but you do pack a punch. I do believe in you.' 

Danielle got a total score of 34 out of 40, but it wasn't enough to keep her on the show. 

Danielle said the experience has 'meant everything' and that it's 'truly been life changing and every single moment, including this one, has been joyous.'

Pasha told Danielle she's his 'friend for life.'

Rapper and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Flavor Flav served a guest judge on the panel this week, alongside Carrie Ann, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli.

The remaining contestants are 

Robert Irwin, Jordan Chiles, Alix Earle, Elaine Hendrix, Andy Richter, Dylan Efron, and Whitney Leavitt.

Influencer Alix, 24, and partner Val Chmerkovskiy performed a Paso Doble to 'Livin’ on a Prayer' by Bon Jovi.

During her practice, the social media star got a special video message from singer Jon Bon Jovi himself, who, like Alix, hails from New Jersey.

'Hey Alix, greetings from New Jersey, thank you very much for dancing to Livin' on a Prayer. Wishing you all the very best, we'll be watching,' he told her. 

Val shared his belief that the couple can remain on top of the leaderboard this week, adding Alix is 'so focused.'

The judges appeared to agree, with Bruno calling the dance 'sexy as hell' and adding, 'she's almost too hot to handle.'

Carrie Ann praised Alix for being 'in it to win it' while Derek called her a 'rock and roll goddess.'

She received a 10 from all judges expect for Flavor Flav, who gave her a 9, for a total of 39 out of 40. 

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney, 32, and partner Mark Ballas performed a Paso Doble to 'No More Tears' by Ozzy Osbourne. 

After a fiery performance, Derek shouted, 'This ballroom is officially on fire.'

'It rocked, it was classic, it was edgy... That was perfection,' he added.

Bruno said it was 'artistically exquisite.'

Whitney tied with Alix for the top spot, getting a 39 out of 40.

Robert and partner Witney Carson thrilled the audience as they performed a Paso Doble to 'Icky Thump' by The White Stripes. 

Carrie Ann said Robert has 'momentum' to take it all the way to the finish line. 

Derek called him a 'matador,' and said he 'owned his arena.'

Robert got a 38 out of 40. 

Jordan and partner Ezra Sosa performed a Jazz to 'River Deep – Mountain High' by Ike & Tina Turner. 

She opened the routine with floor-spanning backflips before finishing with Tina’s iconic moves atop the judges’ table.

Derek was impressed and called her the 'queen of the ballroom.' 

Jordan received a 38 out of 40.  

The show kicked off with Zac Efron's brother, Dylan, and his partner Daniella Karagach.

They performed a Jive to I'm Still Standing by Elton John.

Dylan admitted he still has 'a little PTSD' after breaking his nose the week before. But he said he needs to be '100% committed.' 

Flavor Flav praised Dylan's performance, stating, 'Honestly, to tell you the truth, from the floor to the roof, that dance right there was the proof.' 

He received his first 10 of season from Flavor Flav for a total score of 36.

Comedian Andy, 59, and partner Emma Slater performed a Contemporary routine to 'God Only Knows' by The Beach Boys.

Andy earned his highest scores of the season last week, yet remained at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Andy got emotional during practice, sharing the heartwarming support he has gotten from his fans and how thy threw him virtual birthday parties last week for his 59th birthday.

'I can't imagine a better birthday. It just feels like I'm being held up and carried. It makes me want to do this.'

Bruno praised the dance for having a 'childlike honesty' and said that's why Andy is becoming the 'people's champion.' 

While Carrie Anne, Bruno and Derek gave him 7s, Flavor Flav granted Andy a 9, for a final score of 30 out of 40. 

Elaine and Alan Bersten took the stage with a Viennese Waltz to 'What the World Needs Now Is Love' by Dionne Warwick. 

The Parent Trap actress gave a health update after an injury forced her and partner Alan out of the show's Halloween episode.

'They can't exactly know whether I tore a muscle or whether it's strained,' she shared during rehearsal.

'I'm doing everything I can to heal, including not dancing for a couple of days, which is stressing me out.'

Despite the injury, she was given a clear to return to the dance floor.

'I'm so grateful that we get to keep going. I'm expecting to feel pain. I don't care.'

Carrie Ann was blown away by the performance, and said watching her dance looks 'so familiar' and the way she moves is 'grounded in love.' 

Flavor Flav was shocked after seeing a photo of her on a gurney last week: 'You don't move like you was hurt. Oh my god. You healed up beautiful. That was so amazing.'

Flavor Flav gave the star her first 10 of the season, for a total score of 37 out of 40. 

After their individual dances, the stars were split intro two groups for a team dance competition, with cohosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough each joining one of the teams.

Julianne performed with Team Kool (Andy Richter, Emma Slater, Robert Irwin, Witney Carson, Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy). They received a 38 out of 40.

Meanwhile Alfonso joined Team Chicago (Danielle Fishel, Pasha Pashkov, Whitney Leavitt, Mark Ballas, Jordan Chiles, Ezra Sosa, Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach). They scored a 40 out of 40.
