‘There’s no beef…’: Celebrity Traitors’ Jonathan Ross finally breaks his silence on shock ‘rivalry’ with Ruth Codd — after the actress branded him ‘a f*ing snake’ in furious backstage meltdown following her dramatic early exit from the show… - suong
CELEBRITY Traitors star Jonathan Ross has broken his silence on the ‘rivalry’ between himself and co-star Ruth Codd, after she branded him a ‘f***ing snake.’
The actress, 29, is said to have had a backstage “meltdown” and was “furious” that she was eliminated just days into the series.
Sources told the Mail that the Irish star took her frustration out on chat show host Jonathan, 64, who she was convinced was a Traitor.
Traitors Jonathan, Alan Carr and Cat Burns decided Ruth’s time in the competition was up, fearing she had too much of a sway on the others.
Ruth became the fifth celebrity to be eliminated, following Paloma Faith, Niko Omilana, Tom Daley and Tameka Empson.
But apparently Ruth was so dissatisfied with her early exit that she was left genuinely “angry” by the move.
“Ruth was furious after she was murdered during the early stages of filming,” an insider told the publication.
“She called Jonathan a ‘f***ing snake’ and really let go of her anger behind the scenes.
“There was definitely frustration from Ruth that her co-stars weren’t listening to her after she correctly identified Jonathan as a Traitor.”
Now, Jonathan has spoken about his co-stars on his podcast Reel Talk and said that he and Ruth had ‘no beef.’
The star, who was eliminated from the show at a recent roundtable, said: “I don’t think there was anyone there I didn’t like.
“Obviously, some people leave earlier than other people so you don’t get to spend as long with them. So you know, the younger people who went out earlier, I didn’t get to spend as much time with Niko [Omilana] or Ruth.
“I’ve spoken to them both since and all our lives are different but I think certainly we were friendly when we met so there’s no beef there. But I’d like to think that we could become friends.”
Jonathan also opened up on some friendships he made while on the show, adding: “Mark Bonnar I hadn’t met before and we got on very well, we’ve been in touch.
“Tameka I’ve become very friendly with. I’ve spoken to Tameka quite a lot – sometimes in the group chat. I invited her to go to something with me. One thing she couldn’t come to and the other thing, she was going to come but I had to cancel it because I couldn’t go to it.
“Cat I knew a little tiny bit and we’ve become friends. Actually, I got an email from her just before starting this.
“Cat I really like. Generally speaking, I’m fairly open to meeting new friends. I’m not saying these are becoming super close friends but I’m not someone who finds it easy to become close with people really quickly.”
It’s not just Jonathan that ruffled Ruth’s feathers on the show.
Ruth took a swipe at Alan Carr in a TikTok video about having “trust issues” with the comedian after believing he was trying to befriend her on the show.
Ruth captioned the clip: “You think you have trust issues?
“I thought my favourite comedian was following me around because they wanted to be my friend but they were actually trying to murder me for 24 hours straight on national television.”
PI Bo Dietl Slams Luis Ruelas’ RHONJ Claims as 'Total Lies' and Responds to Lawsuit Involving Luis’ Ex Vanessa Reiser trucc

Bo Dietl is speaking out about the “nonsense” and “total lies” that Luis Ruelas said about him on the 13th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Years after Luis, 50, claimed Bo, 74, brought him “information on each person” on the cast and alleged that the private investigator knew “sh*t about everybody” on the season 13 finale, Bo said that while Terasa Giudice‘s spouse did ask him to “do something for him,” it had “nothing to do with the show.”
“Luis asked me to do something for him — nothing to do with the show,” Bo told Radar Online on October 27 about how they met. “I like Teresa and Luis personally, but I’ve never done background work on the cast. And the whole ‘Bo has dirt on everyone’ is nonsense. Total lies.”
“Luis yelled… ‘I got Bo Dietl!’ claiming I had dirt on everyone. All nonsense. I told him, ‘Don’t throw my name around unless you’re hiring me.’ If you pay, I will do it legally,” he continued.
While Luis eventually admitted that his claims about Bo and the supposed information he gathered were “misstated … out of anger” at the reunion, the drama was “too much nonsense” for Bo.
“I deal with real life – killings, threats, kidnappings, corporate investigations. Luis throwing my name out there with ‘dirt on everyone’ is embarrassing,” Bo explained. “People think I did background investigation work on the cast. Never happened. I’ve been a homicide detective, a businessman, and a private investigator for decades, and I know the difference between real work and nonsense TV drama.”
In addition to being dragged into the drama of RHONJ, Bo also found himself named in a February 2024 lawsuit that accused him, Luis, and others of hacking into computers to “harass and abuse” Luis’ ex, Vanessa Reiser.
“I never hacked anyone’s computers,” Bo insisted. “There’s absolutely no evidence because it never happened. I’ve spent over 40 years in law enforcement and private investigations, and people love to throw my name around to create drama or get attention. It’s embarrassing. If this goes to court, I’ll be there. I’ve got nothing to hide.”
“All the drama, all the nonsense from reality shows or the media? Forget it. Real life is about love, family, frends, and enjoying the life you’ve built together. That’s what counts,” he concluded.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently on hiatus ahead of its 15th season.
