Ruth Langsford returns to Strictly Come Dancing eight years after first stint ngocc
Former Strictly contestant Ruth Langsford returned to the show, after her 2017 partner Anton Du Beke invited her to join in the Halloween fun. Ex This Morning host Ruth, 65, shared her evening with Instagram followers, where she partied with the cast, caught up with all her old Strictly pals - and even bagged herself a sneaky blow dry backstage.

Posting on her Stories, she shared a snap of herself and current contestant Vicky Pattinson, as well as numerous photos of her and pal, Homes Under the Hammer star Lucy Alexander. The pair appeared to be having a ball as they helped themselves to drinks and snacks backstage, before enjoying the performances together.
Another photo saw her thank Anton Du Beke for inviting her to join in the fun, sharing a snap of her and her dancing partner beaming as they reunited. Ruth previously spoke about how she and Anton formed a close bond when she did her Strictly stint in 2017.

She revealed: "I think the best thing was my friendship with Anton, we laughed and laughed, and he was so kind to me. I always want people to know that, Anton's such a laugh – he's laugh, laugh, laugh – but he's the kindest man.

"And there were times... I was always bursting into tears as the show went on, because it gets hard, and everyone's so good, and then I would feel really rubbish because I would think, 'I can't do it'. And he'd go, 'you're fine'. I felt like I was letting him down, but he never criticised me, he was just fun."
Ruth further explained the foundation of their enduring friendship: "He and I have a very, very similar sense of humour, so we could laugh our way through stuff and he was so kind, and I loved the crew and the team, and I know everybody says that – it sounds like such a cliché – but it's absolutely true.
"And it's a phenomenal team – the choreographers, the professional dancers, hair, makeup, costume, everything, the set, the band. It's just a phenomenal show and I hope it lives on, and on, and on.

"And I'm sure it will, because the public love it. It only gets better every year, in my opinion."
Back when Ruth was on Strictly, she remembered how difficult she found the routines, especially while she was fitting her training into her already busy schedule. She added: "I'd be learning, and learning, and learning, and that would be the start, and then he'd show me the next section and he'd go, 'right, from the top' and I couldn't remember it from the top.
"And Anton will back me up, because nobody believes me, I genuinely can say there was not one Saturday where I 100% knew my dance because I didn't have enough time. I think there are people who maybe aren't working, or that's the sole thing they're doing, but I was doing This Morning and Loose Women, so I never got to rehearsal till half past two in the afternoon, and you're tired.
"And Anton and his wife, they'd just had their twins – they were babies, and so yeah, by seven o'clock I was just like, cross-eyed and he said to me, 'right, you need to go home now', because when you're that tired, nothing's going in. I wasn't that person that did 10-12, hours of rehearsals a day because I couldn't, and it was fine, and I just accepted that and I did what I could."

Gia Giudice is setting the record straight.
In the Nov. 3 episode of her podcast, Casual Chaos, the 24-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice addressed the "crazy rumors" circulating online that she got married.
She began by sharing that there is a "crazy AI account on Facebook" that has been "making the most fake news" about her life. One of those "news" headlines was that she has tied the knot with boyfriend Christian Carmichael — and it seems some people have taken it as truth.
"I was in the nail salon the other day, and this lady was like, 'Oh, my God, your wedding dress was gorgeous.' And I was like, 'What is she talking about?' " Gia recalled. "Like, I did not get married, nor am I engaged, nor did I have a secret wedding with only my immediate family. Like, none of this happened."
"Like, we're not getting married," the Next Gen NYC star continued, referring to Carmichael.
Gia said there are also rumors that she's "been pregnant before," to which she responded: "Not pregnant. Maybe I just looked chunky that day."
As for all the fake news, she told her viewers, "Just ignore it all."
"Like, no one's pregnant. No one's married. No one's engaged," she said.
Gia went on to speak about her relationship with Carmichael, whom she began dating in 2020 after the pair met during a beach weekend in New Jersey ahead of her freshman year of college at Rutgers University.
"We've been together since we were 19," she said, before sharing what keeps their connection solid. "I think the foundation of our relationship is honestly trust. We've been through a lot. We've been through a lot of ups and downs. So I think the biggest thing is trust. And we're still going strong."
Gia previously noted on her podcast that her family fully supports her relationship with Carmichael.
"My mom loves Christian," she said. "But, you know, Christian honestly has an amazing relationship with everyone in my family."
She shared that Carmichael has also visited her father, Joe Giudice, in the Bahamas, where he lives. "You guys have a great relationship," Gia told her boyfriend, who had joined her on the podcast episode at the time. "You guys always joke around with each other."
While she's not engaged or married, Gia did recently make a major life change, finally deciding to move out of her mom's home and into an apartment. She revealed during her Nov. 3 podcast episode that she is set to move to Jersey City, N.J., "in one week."
Addressing whether she sees herself ever leaving her home state of New Jersey, she said, "I'm open to exploring other towns in my 20s, whether it's Brooklyn or I do move to [New York City]. But Jersey City was a good step for me because my heart will always be in Jersey."
"My family's here. My boyfriend's here. And it's just the perfect happy medium to make my commute easier to the city, but then also make it easy for me to just get on the highway and come see my family or boyfriend," she continued. "So I don't know. I'm open to exploring in my 20s, but long term, yes. I think I will always be in Jersey."
