Nadia Sawalha opened up about her eye condition in a video on Instagram.
Showing off her very swollen face, she posted a clip that was called: “Anyone else got a sister that ALWAYS tells you the blooming truth????”
The star, who’s eyes looked very sore in the clip, then told her followers: “With a sister like mine, who needs enemies? I was just FaceTiming her and she said are you going on loose women like that and I went yeah why?
“And she said because you look like you’ve had three bottles of Sauvignon Blanc and fallen asleep in a hedge. And she has got a point.
“If you do turn on loose women just for a few mins today, and you don’t know for context, I’ve not had three bottles of Sauvignon Blanc, fallen asleep in a hedge.
“I slept in my own bed actually, I’ve got something going on with my eyeballs.
“Well not my eyeballs, it’s my eyes, but we don’t know what it is and there’s far far worse things going on in the world.
“I’ve just got swollen eyes, if I don’t go on, I don’t get paid. So happily I go!”
Fans immediately expressed their concern, with one writing: “That looks so sore!”
Another wrote: “Get well soon!”
This fan then suggested the eye condition could be down to stress.
They wrote: “Stress can be so shocking how it presents itself within the body…. We can all hide it behind a smile, makeup anything really.
“It’s all secretly happening beneath the surface and eventually comes to the top when it’s nowhere else to go…bless you and something I know personally. You’re beautiful inside and out – take all your guidance and support from your trusted bubble. Lots a love.”
Agreeing with her follower, Nadia said: “Exactly ! So damaging to the body!”
The star talked about her eye condition further on Loose Women this week.
At the start of the show she revealed she had ditched the make-up because of how swollen her eyes were.
Appearing on the ITV lunchtime show alongside Jane Moore, 63, Sue Cleaver, 62, and Kelle Bryan, 50, on Thursday, the star opened up about her eyes.
Addressing the other panelists, Nadia said:: “I thought it was an allergy. It started on Saturday, phoned the doctor, took antihistamines, went to the pharmacist, all of that, nothing changed.”
Jane then asked her if her eyes were “sore”.
“No, it just feels a bit bruised but lovely doctor Zoe came and saw me. I had my own session with her in my dressing room,” Nadia said.
Further confirming the stress theory, she continued: “I said to her, ‘Listen, honestly Zoe, I think it’s stress.’
“She said she agreed and I loved what she recommend… deep breath practice, to just take a bit of time out, I haven’t cried properly in about two or three years.
“Not properly, I’ll cry a little bit and stop. I honestly think it’s that.
“When we get stressed why do we not think that it will impact on our bodies?”

Quad goes to Anila’s home to check on her. They talk about what went down when the ladies hung out recently at Jackie’s. And Quad says Simone and Contessa believe that Anila staged the robbery. This is upsetting to Anila. And she says she can’t believe educated women would say something like this.
And when it comes to Toya, Anila says it’s disappointing that Toya didn’t reach out to check on her family.
Quad accuses Toya of just trying to shift the narrative because she’s been accused of cheating on Eugene. .
Miss Gomez returns.
As the group continues to fracture, a cast trip to Blue Ridge is proposed by Jackie, Curtis, Simone, and Cecil.
Contessa competes in her first fitness competition. This is something she’s always wanted to do. She’s surprised when she comes in first place.
Kiran and Anila are able to talk Miss Gomez into being their nanny again.
Anila confronts Toya.
The group heads to Blue Ridge. Cecil and Simone notice the shade when Audra and Martin arrive in matching Champion outfits. As for Toya, she says she’s not comfortable with being around Audra after their altercation.
Audra and Martin find out she’s pregnant. It’s exciting because it will be Martin’s first biological child. Audra had a son from a previous relationship.
Heavenly approaches Toya to apologize for their recent blowup. She says she’s sad about her mother’s passing. So she knows she’s wrong for lashing out. But Toya becomes emotional and says Heavenly has a right to grieve. She isn’t happy when she sees Anila and Kiran walk into the house.
Later, it’s time to put it all out on the table. Anila asks Toya if she accused her of staging her robbery. And Toya says she doesn’t know what Anila would do.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger.
