‘He genuinely doesn’t have any mates…’: Roman Kemp hits back at fan fears over I’m A Celeb star Martin, 64 — revealing his dad has only his wife and kids as his ‘friends’… and insisting the Spandau Ballet legend is actually ‘REALLY loving’ life in the jungle… - suong
ROMAN Kemp has revealed how his I’m A Celeb campmate dad Martin “doesn’t have any friends”, as he hits back at fan fears over the star.
It comes after some viewers showed concern for Spandau Ballet star Martin, 64, during his time in the jungle.
Now, the star’s son Roman, who appeared on I’m A Celeb back in 2019, has jumped to his famous father’s defence.
During his time in the jungle, Martin has admitted he finds it “harder to make friends” as he has “got older”.
There has been some concern that the singer hasn’t “bonded” as much with the other campmates, and has appeared less on screen.
However, Roman has defended his father and explained more on his dad’s “friends” situation.
Taking to Instagram, the devoted son said: “Some have said my dad’s not having a nice
“He is REALLY loving it. I said this last night but I think a few of you think I’m just bantering but something I have noticed is my dad keeps saying
‘my new friends’.
“He genuinely doesn’t have mates outside of my mum, Harley and me so he means it, he’ll really be chuffed. Again not being mean, that’s the truth.”
Throughout this year’s series, Martin has commanded a lot less screen time than other campmates, and it’s not gone unnoticed.
Roman previously poked fun at his dad’s time in the jungle on social media, after his dad took part in a live trial last week.
Posting footage of the scenes, he wrote on X: “This just about sums up my dads time in #ImACeleb”.
The short clip showed other stars reacting in disgust as the grim details of last night’s rivals challenge were revealed.
But as each campmate appeared grossed out by the trial, Martin appeared mesmerised and giddy as he was seen beaming in the same shot.
The short video had fans in hysterics, with many responding to Roman’s jokey post.
One replied: “That’s fahe’s just like the happiest, nicest man. Love him!”
Another responded: “He’s just having a blast every day”.
But while the footage got laughs from a bunch of fans, at the time others questioned whether the star is even still in the series.
One wrote: “Is he in the Jungle? Have hardly seen him almost two weeks”.
Another chimed: “We haven’t seen enough of him in screen. Bet he’s loving it”.
While one viewer said: “Wish he would get more screen time. Haven’t seen tonight’s episode. Will watch it tomorrow. Have just voted for him 5 times”.
I’m a Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
‘Why isn’t Jack singing…?!’ Furious Kelly Osbourne takes a swipe at I’m A Celeb as her brother ‘misses out’ in the Jungle Arms — with the star calling out producers in a fiery Instagram rant that’s left fans buzzing… - suong

KELLY Osbourne has furiously taken a swipe at I’m A Celebrity as her brother Jack “missed out” at the Jungle Arms.
During Tuesday night’s episode, the campmates were treated to a visit to the Jungle Arms pub, where they got to indulge in karaoke, fish and chips and drinks.
Viewers saw Shona McGarty belt out Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You on the karaoke mic, as well as many other celebrities showing off their best vocal abilities.
However, Jack wasn’t shown singing any tunes and it didn’t go unnoticed by his sister Kelly.
As the episode aired and she watched from home, she put up a video on her Instagram story to ask why Jack wasn’t featured singing.
She stood in front of the tv with curly blonde locks and round sunglasses and said: “Question, why isn’t Jack singing? Why isn’t he doing karaoke?”
She later appeared in another clip with mum Sharon Osbourne as the mother and daughter duo thanked fans for saving him in the public vote.
Kelly has been supporting her brother Jack all series and has regularly been taking to social media to share commentary on the show and he’s doing Down Under.
This isn’t the first she’s jumped to his defence over the jungle antics as she previously ripped into Kelly Brook for “bullying” Jack.
Earlier on in the series, Jack and Kelly bumped heads over
However, after accepting his help, Kelly had a different response when speaking in the Bush Telegraph.
After the radio presenter accused Jack of “elbowing her out of the way” his sister Kelly took to Instagram to have her say.
She said: “Kelly… “Kelly Brook… I don’t think I like you.
“Elbowing out of the way to get to the fish… you’re so performative, with all the gagging and the over‑dramatics.
“You bring out my big‑sister vibes where I want to attack you because I feel like you’re a bit of a bully.”
Kelly’s loved ones were quick to defend her as her ex-housekeeper Gemma Daniels blasted the “bully” claims made against her.
Gemma, who worked for her for nine years at the star’s £1million Kent farmhouse took to TikTok to say: “In the nine years that I’ve known Kelly Brook, I’ve never felt the need to stick up for her more than I do now.
She told her followers the Loose Women star had always treated her and her team with warmth and respect.
“She was a really lovely down-to-earth woman.
“I’m just a girl from a council estate and she trusted me and my team to come into the most amazing house.
“Even when she wasn’t there a lot, I went every week to look after it, and she used to throw the cleaners and the gardeners a party every Christmas.”
